What is Happy Tails Academy?
Happy Tails Academy, our enrichment daycare program, instills positive behaviors, confidence, and good manners through one on one and small-group play, games including fun agility courses, rally games, nose work, puzzles, training games, and more! We are excited to welcome your one-of-a-kind pup to our one-of-a-kind program.
What is Enrichment Daycare?
Enrichment daycare at Happy Tails Academy offers a dynamic, fun-filled day for your dog, featuring a rotation through multiple activity sessions. This structure ensures both mental and physical stimulation throughout the day.
Activities are organized into small groups of well-matched playmates, allowing team members to interact closely with each dog. For dogs who prefer a more private experience, individualized playtime with the Happy Tails Academy Coordinator is available. The schedule also includes rest periods, prioritizing each dog’s health and well-being.
This highly customized approach allows the program to address the unique needs of every participant, making it ideal for playful, energetic dogs who thrive in smaller groups and enjoy individualized attention.
What is the difference between Enrichment Daycare and Traditional Daycare?
Unlike traditional daycare options, Happy Tails Academy offers highly personalized attention and tailored activities designed to nurture each dog's individual strengths and interests. In traditional daycare, dogs play in groups of up to 15 other dogs and are monitored by our trained pet care team. This option is great for dogs who get along well with others in a larger group setting. Happy Tails Academy is perfect for dogs who prefer playing in a smaller group of dogs or with toys and games.
Is the Happy Tails Academy right for my dog?
Almost any dog would benefit from the Happy Tails Academy! The program is particularly beneficial for:
- Dogs that tend to struggle within a traditional daycare group, or
- Dogs that excel in a more structured program, or
- Dogs that do better with one-on-one training and skill building.
Pricing
The Happy Tails Academy is $42 per day. Participants receive a treat stuffed Kong each day and a report card emailed weekly. There will be packages that offer discounts available. You can choose between 5, 10 or 20-day packages.
Schedule
The Happy Tails Academy operates exclusively on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. Drop off is available as early as 7:00 am and pick up as late as 6:00 pm, which are the same hours as our regular daycare program. This flexible schedule allows parents to choose drop-off and pick-up times that best fit their routines.
