Our highly trained team of dog lovers will treat your furry family member to their own vacation, which will include days of play with their doggie friends and nights of peaceful slumber.
- Central air and heat and radiant heat in the flooring keeps the kennel warm in the winter and cool in the summer.
- We use only stainless-steel food and water dishes.
- For our guests that like to chew soft bedding, we offer chew-proof Kuranda beds.
- A UV air purification system is utilized throughout the kennel to control allergens, odors, and mold making our kennels safe and comfortable.
- Medications (including injected medications) are dispensed per you and your veterinarian’s instructions.
- Regular off-leash playtime is always included at no additional charge.
- Special treats like a peanut butter & treat stuffed Kong or frozen doggie yogurt cups are available for purchase.
- To make your dog's stay as comfortable as possible, we use veterinary tested iCalmDog, a gentle, bioacoustically-arranged classical music system to calm dogs and reduce noise phobias like thunder, traffic, and fireworks.
Getting Started
Boarding your dog at Happy Tails is easy. First, you'll want to schedule a time for your pet to come in for their social evaluation. All dogs that attend Happy Tails must pass a social evaluation. The goals of the evaluation are:
- To help us determine if off-leash play is right for your dog.
- To help us learn your dog's play style and match him with the play group that's right for him.
- To give you a tour of our facility and answer any questions you may have.
Next, prior to arriving for the evaluation, you should complete the Off Leash Play Questionnaire (below) and bring it with you to the evaluation (along with your pup's vaccination record).
The evaluation is approximately 6 hours, and the fee is $25. Please call our office at (607) 377-5757 to schedule the evaluation. For more information about boarding your dog with us, please read the What Your Pet Needs to Bring When Boarding sheet (below).

Basic Rate
$45/night (ask about our multi-pet family discounts!)
Boarding reservations require a $35 deposit due at booking. Cancellations require at least 48-hour notice for refund of deposit.
Please Note: Pick-ups after 2:00 PM will incur a $15 late fee per dog

Happy Tails isn't just for dogs! We offer superb accommodations for your kitties, too!
For your cat's comfort, our cat accommodations are totally separate from the dog lodging. The cattery is completely climate controlled and wired for heat and smoke detection. Each spacious suite has a window with perch ledge so your kitty can watch the birds, bunnies, and squirrels outside. We provide everything for your kitty's stay except for food, medicines, and other personal items. Our staff scoop litter boxes multiple times per day to ensure your cat always has a fresh litter box.
To make your cat's stay as comforting as possible, we utilize veterinary tested iCalmCat, gentle, bioacoustically-arranged classical music to calm cats and reduce noise phobias.
